Our strengths

What you actually feel after a month here

Anucor sits on Bernard Street, a quiet stretch between Russell Square and the stations people use every day. We opened because we were tired of rooms that look busy and feel empty. You know the type: forty people, one instructor, music so loud you cannot hear a cue. We built the opposite. The studio holds a handful of sessions at a time, the coaches stay on the floor, and the programme is written for the body in front of them, not for a poster on the wall. People come to us after a messy year at a big-box gym, after a physio said “please stop winging it”, or after they simply wanted a room that smells like work rather than cologne. We do not promise a new personality by Friday. We do promise a plan you can keep, coaching you can hear, and a timetable that respects a London week. If you train at lunch, we will have you in and out without the theatre. If you train after work, nobody will rush you off the reformer because a marketing class is about to start. That is the whole idea: enough space to move, enough attention to get better, and enough honesty to tell you when you should rest.

01

Coaches who stay in the room

Your session is not a revolving door. The same coach writes the block, watches the lifts, and adjusts the next week from what actually happened, not from a template emailed at midnight.

02

Small numbers on purpose

Group sessions cap at six. That is not a slogan, it is how the room is laid out. You get a square of floor, a voice you can hear, and enough time between sets to breathe.

03

Programming that survives real life

Travel weeks, late meetings, sore knees. We write work that bends without collapsing. Miss Thursday and we will not pretend Friday can magically carry the whole plan.

04

A postcode you can actually reach

27 Bernard Street is a short walk from Russell Square. No industrial park, no twenty-minute shuttle from a retail park. You can train and still make the 18:40 train.

What we offer

Five ways to train without wasting the hour

Most people do not need seventeen class names. They need a clear door in. At Anucor that door is one of five services, and we keep the list short so you are not guessing which colour of spinning bike is “the good one”. Personal training is the quiet, detailed option if you want a coach in your pocket. Small group classes are for people who like a bit of company but still want their name used in a cue. Reformer pilates is where we put members who need control, hips that cooperate, and a spine that does not complain after a day at a laptop. HIIT and conditioning is the sweaty, honest work if your sport or your head needs a sharp thirty-five minutes. Recovery and mobility is not an afterthought; it is how we keep the other four from turning into a pile of tight hips and skipped sessions. You can mix them. Plenty of members do a private session on Monday, pilates on Wednesday, and a conditioning class on Friday. The photos below are the same rooms and formats you will see on the services page, because we would rather show you the work than invent a second set of pretty pictures. Pick a card, book the intro, and we will tell you plainly if another format would serve you better. No packing you into a class that does not fit just because it has an empty slot at 12:30. If you are still unsure after reading, book the consult and we will point you at one door, not five.

Studio numbers

A few facts, not a scoreboard

We would rather give you numbers you can check than a wall of fireworks. Anucor Fitness Studio Ltd has been on Bernard Street long enough for the florist next door to know our coaches by name. In 2026 the studio runs with nine coaches on the roster, not a cast of fifty who appear once and vanish. Class size is capped at six, which is why the diary fills and why we will not pretend we can squeeze a seventh person onto a reformer. Around one hundred and seventy people train with us in a typical month, a mix of members on four-week blocks and people who book sessions as they go. The floor is 210 square metres split into a strength bay, a pilates room, and a conditioning strip with enough ceiling height for a proper hang. First-time visitors get a thirty-minute consult, not a hard sell in a glass office. If someone needs a physio more than a coach, we say so. We have held the same phone number and the same door since the refit in 2024, because people were already walking here from Russell Square and we were not about to drag them to a cheaper railway arch. These figures will move a little through the year, as people join, travel, and come back. They will not jump because a timer on the homepage told them to. If you want the long version of how we got here, the about page has the years in order. If you want to train, the form below is the shortest route.

9 coaches on the 2026 roster
6 people in a group session, maximum
170 people training with us in a usual month
210 square metres of studio floor

Book a session

Tell us what you want the next month to look like

The form on this page is the only one we use on the homepage, and it is enough. Write your name, a phone we can actually reach, and the service you are curious about. If you already know you want personal training on weekday mornings, say so. If you have no idea and you just want someone to look at your shoulder, say that too. A coach reads these requests on working days and writes back from anucor@hotmail.com, usually within a day. We will not auto-charge a membership because you pressed send. We will offer a time, confirm the fee, and hold the slot for twenty-four hours so you can check your calendar like a normal person. Cancellations with more than twelve hours’ notice are a simple email. Inside twelve hours we keep the session fee, because that hour is gone for someone else as well. Intro blocks can carry up to twenty percent off the first four weeks when you start two services together; we do not run fantasy discounts or countdown clocks. If the diary is full at your favourite time, we will say so instead of parking you on a waitlist that never moves. You can also call +442071012807 or message us on WhatsApp from the footer. The studio is at 27 Bernard Street, and if you are standing outside a little early, come in, the kettle is usually on.

Questions

The things people ask before they walk through the door

Nobody likes a FAQ that reads like a legal department had a hobby. These are the questions we actually hear at the desk, usually from someone holding a keep-cup and looking at the timetable as if it were a Tube map. If your question is weirder than these, that is fine, send it through the form or call. We would rather answer it badly over tea than leave you guessing in the changing room. The short version of almost every answer is this: come as you are, tell us what hurts, and give the first four weeks a fair go before you decide the whole idea of training is not for you. The long versions are below.

No. We would have a very quiet studio if that were the rule. Plenty of people arrive after a year of sitting, after a baby, after a knee that had opinions. The first session is a conversation and a few simple moves so we can see how you hinge, squat, and breathe. We will not throw you into a conditioning class to prove a point. If group work is too much at the start, we will steer you toward personal training or pilates until the basics feel familiar. You do not need new kit either. Clean trainers, clothes you can move in, and a bottle of water will do. We have mats, reformers, bells, and the rest. What we do ask is honesty: if something twinges, say it in the moment, not on the way out of the door. That is how we keep the work useful instead of dramatic.

Use the form on this page, email anucor@hotmail.com, or call +442071012807. We confirm by email with the time, the coach, and the fee. Cancel with more than twelve hours’ notice and we will move you. Inside twelve hours the session is charged, because that hour cannot be sold twice. If the City shuts down or the coach is ill, we move you at no cost. Packs of sessions stay valid for twelve weeks from the purchase date. After that the remaining sessions lapse, which sounds strict until you remember that open-ended packs turn into ghosts in a drawer. If you are travelling for work, tell us when you buy and we can shape the block around the weeks you are actually in London.

Personal training starts at £78 a session. Small group classes are £24. Reformer pilates is £36. HIIT and conditioning is £22. Recovery and mobility is £42. Four-week intro blocks that pair two services can take up to twenty percent off that first month. We do not advertise fifty percent of anything, and we do not change the board because it is a bank holiday. Full prices, guarantees, and the small print live on the services page so you can read them with a cup of tea instead of squinting at a pop-up. If money is tight, ask us about off-peak group slots before you decide the whole studio is out of reach. We would rather find you a £22 class that you attend than sell you a private you will resent.

27 Bernard Street, London, a short walk from Russell Square station. Look for the square Anucor mark on the door, not a giant neon sign. There is a small changing space, showers, and lockers that take a padlock if you want one. Cycle parking is on the street. If you drive, the nearest paid bays fill up, so the Tube is kinder. We put a pin in the footer if you like walking with Maps open. First time here, arrive ten minutes early so we can show you the floor and stop you hovering by the wrong room. The pilates space is behind the red door; the strength bay is the one with the clock you can see from the street.

Yes, and a lot of our week is built for exactly that. Heavy-ish lower body on Monday, reformer on Wednesday, a short conditioning piece on Friday is a very normal Anucor week. The coaches talk to each other, which sounds obvious and is somehow rare. If your pilates teacher sees your hip shifting, your strength coach will hear about it before Thursday. You do not need to carry notes between rooms like a school child. What we will not do is stack three hard sessions on three consecutive evenings and call it commitment. Mix the work, leave a gap, and let recovery be a session rather than a rumour.
